It was early morning on a saturday and what was Alex doing? Eating breakfast, of course. She'd woken up an hour before, had showered, dressed and was now eating breakfast and it was only nine. Alex was never big on laying in until the afternoon, she felt like it was wasing her day away and that was one thing she hated the most. Her parents had already left for work and her mum had left a considerably large list of chores for the girl to do. This was the usual satuday routine for Alex's family. Her mum and dad would wake up at six or seven in the morning, quickly get ready, write a list up for their daughter and then leave for work and about half an hour later Alex would wake up, get ready and attempt to complete the list. She would normally manage to do at least half the chores before getting bored and tired, often meaning she'd have a quick nap on the sofa. Not today though, she didn't have the excuse of homework of any other excuse either, really which meant a day full of work, fun.
She loaded up the dishwasher and put it on before grabbing the list off the fridge and scanning through it. There was the usual sort of things like sort out the washing, hang the clothes out, hover the floor and mop the kitchen. Top of the list though was that Chip, their one year old puppy, was due for a check up. This cheered Alex up slightly because it meant a trip to pets at home which was easily her favorite shop. She loved the other animals there and it meant she could take chip out for an extra long walk after and hopefully by him some treats to. "Chip!" Alex called out in a sing song voice as she grabbed hold of the lead and attached it to the chocolate lab's collar. Luckily it wasn't to far away meaning that they could walk there and back without to much hassel.
It didn't take to long to get to the shop and soon Chip was in the vets area, having his check up. He was given the OK and Alex walked him round the shop, looking at treats and toys for the dog. So she spoiled him, did it matter? She loved her dog to bits and whenever she went out she always came back with something for the young dog. It was while she was looking at chew toys that she felt a pull on the lead and turned to see Chip jumping up at someone excitedly. "I'm so sorry! He's won't bite or anything, he's friendly." She apoligized, pulling her dog back and looking up at the person who'd Chip had been jumping up at.

What the hell? It was only nine in the morning? Jay rolled out of bed and showered got dressed and got the food out 'Diesel come!' Word were rough but very gentle. He trained this dog himself, he was really good with animals. The Doberman bounded from his room to the kitchen and slowed. He stood right in front of Jay and looked up. Cropped ears flicking back and forth 'Okay, we will go out to the store today...' He sighed and the dog ran to the dog grabbing his leash off the hook. The doberman must of been 29 inches tall, taller then the average 24 inches. He was white, solid pure white. And vicious looking but rather handsome for a dog.
One hand in his pocket and the other was on a leash. The dog wasn't on the leash but fuck it right? Who was stopping him. He walked up to the building that was like a vet or store of some sort. Diesel needed to get checked out anyway. He opened the door to go in, Diesel waited before Jay tilted his head showing Diesel to go in. The Doberman bounced gently up into the store and stood there. Jay put the leash on and walked him to the vet section. Diesel was taken right away. 'Good luck...' Jay spoke to the vet hands and people. Jay walked down the isles before bumping into a chocolate lab. He was attached to a leash but Jay didn't notice the human walking it.
'Hey buddy' He said and a smile covered Jay's face. Jay finally looked up... it was the girl he saw on the field she had to be much younger then Jay, she looked about 15-16? God Jay was 19. He smiled up at her standing up 'Whats his name?' He asked as he rubbed the lab's head.
A huge smash and a bang was heard and Jay closed his eyes... 'Diesel...' He groaned and looked back at the long legged doberman sprawled out trying to get away and slipping on everything. Jay growled he looked around 'excuse me... one second' He said and shifted over to the dog and stood tall staring at him 'DIESEL! AAAAAAAATTENTION!' The canine looked right at jay and sat up tall and quiet. 'Good man, stand tall, ' he said and turned back to the girl.
He walked back over 'Sorry about that...' He didn't like to raise his voice at diesel in front of people. But it was how he trained the dog. He stood there and smiled, just as the white doberman came trotting up behind him. He got the OK. He lowered his nose to sniff the lab but stopped and looked up at Jay 'No touch, stand tall' That's all Jay said. Diesel whined before pulling his head back and sitting his ass right on the floor. He sat tall and waited, listening to both humans.

Alex sighed with relief when the boy Chip had jumped up at merely smiled at the dog. "His names Chip." She replied quietly as she took a treat out of her pocket, convincing the puppy to calm down. When she heard a crash and the boy sighed she raised an eyebrow. She was about to ask who, or what, Diesel was but her answer came in the form of a white doberman, currently causing mess and destruction. Alex laughed slightly to herself glad to see it wasn't only her dog that didn't like going to the vets, although Chip didn't really cause a lot of trouble, except for the occasional time when he'd bite the vet ... or when he chased that cat around the store. Apart from that it was never anything major.
A smile crept across her face as she watched the guy address his dog. She felt it odd, to see someone talk to their dog like this, it was like a captain addressing his men. It worked though, the dog went still and quiet, much to Alex's surprise. She normally had to bribe her pup to do anything really but then again, the doberman looked a little older then her lab so it was possible that it was just training and experiance that had taken the dog to this stage of understanding. Now if only she could get Chip to behave a bit more like that, her parents might be a bit more lenant about keeping her around. She knew they'd been thinking about getting rid of the dog for a while because they 'couldn't handle him' but she hoped to change their mind yet, she loved Chip and didn't want another family to have him. She wanted him.
"It's fine." Was her reply with a knowing nod. It wasn't like she didn't know what it was like to have a misbehaved dog. "Your dog is a very good listener." She said with a slight tone of admiration. Bending down and keeping a tight grip on Chips lead, she stroked the head of the doberman gently. "You have him trained very well, apparently." Alex commented, watching the dog carefully as Chip tugged on the lead, trying desperatly to reach Diesel. "Chip, stop it." She sighed tiredly, getting the dog to sit down by laying another treat on the floor.
