Our story begins with a young man named Patricus, a faithfull follower of Mars , Roman God of War. With the help of Ares he has gained respect in the Roman Legion finding himself promoted to second in command in the Petruvian Guard, the king's personal bodyguards. He isn't happy with that though he wants the throne. Killing the king will be easy,his health deteriorating quickly with a disease. finding a way into becoming the next in line to rule is the hard part.
Thats where the king's two daughters come into play. The oldest and next in line is Adriana and the Youngest Natalia. He starts to seduce Adriana but its quite apparent that she doesnt have any interest in him. Her eyes are upon the once gladiator now bodyguard Demtrius who is secretly in love with her and doesnt trust Patricus, the scheme starts coming together when the fates speak...
" He will soon seduce the youngest, start courting her and devise a plan to kill off Adriana. If he succeeds then wars and bloodshed will follow for many years, and if Adriana is the victorious one then peace will be to Rome."
The mortals are not the only ones affected. The Gods have also choosen sides, each one granting blessings and gifts to normal mortals who they think could help sway the outcome more to their side. Mars, the roman god of war is determined to have the young man succeed, but his lover Venus wants Adriana to rule. Tension is slowly mounting between the Gods of Olympus. Who will succeed in this Epic battle? Will Patricus's plan work? Will Adriana discover what he intends? How far will the Gods intervene? All that is up to you...
